Top Monthly Tune Recap – January 2016

Welcome to the first top ten recap of 2016! I can’t wait to spend the year sharing tunes with you. Here’s my recap for January:

1. Snow Dayy – Drift

Genre: Trance

I haven’t featured a trance track in a while. I was pleasantly surprised to come across this tune. Enjoy the 7 minute long journey.

2. The Right Stuff (Psychemagik Remix)

Genre: Dance

I absolutely love this remix – in fact I think I’ve had it on repeat for a while. The dance spin and little unique sounds make this one a real winner.

3. Leftwing & Kody – Keep On

Genre: House

House tune with a classic feel – reminds me of 90s house tunes.

4. Stendahl – Changes

Genre: Deep House

I love coming across artists that aren’t well known. This tune was a gateway into discovering more great music from Stendahl. Enjoy this title tune from his latest EP.

5. Caribou – Can’t Do Without You (Manila Killa & Kidswaste Cover)

Genre: Dance

A very dreamy take on the original tune.

6. Elderbrook X Andhim – How Many Times (KANT Remix)

Genre: Deep House

I always worry when remixes come out for tunes that sound amazing in their original forms. This remix however keeps the essence of the original and also sounds great.

7. Mrmilkcarton – Valley Of The Giants (Original Mix)

Genre: Deep House

Tunes that progress through peaks and valleys are the best. Enjoy this deep house tune that does exactly that.

8. Kubix – Run Away (Azaleh Remix)

Genre: Electronic

A very soulful, chill tune. This is one is definitely more of a meditative tune.

9. Mura Masa – Your Bones (Khamsin Remix)

Genre: Electronic

A deep take on the original tune.

10. Sinden & Herve – Hit & Run

Genre: House

Great house tune with cool bits of guitar strums and old computerized sounds.
