Top Tune Recap – June 2015

Welcome to June’s top track recap. Here we go:

1. CID – She Wants The D
Genre: House
Minimal lyrics with maximal sound. This tune wins for catchy track of the month. I dare you not to listen on repeat.

2. Dosem – Next Room
Genre: House
Dosem is quickly becoming one of those artists for me that never put out any bad tracks. I especially love the brief slowdown halfway through this track.

3. Matt Fax – Supertaper
Genre: Trance
Matt Fax has been on hiatus for some time, but what a brilliant return with this trance track featured on ASOT.

4. Nam’Pa – High (Oleska Remix)
Genre: House
It’s difficult to define what genre this falls into, but that’s part of the beauty of this one. I love the chill factor with pops of french/middle-eastern flair.

5. Galantis – Peanut Butter Jelly
Genre: Pop/Disco
I absolutely love the disco vibes in the track. Definitely a summer-volume-up tune.

6. USB Players – Siren
Genre: House
Featured on a 2015 Ibiza sampler, this summer house track is ready to get you dancing.

7. Rameses B – Better Days
Genre: Chillstep
Coming from a brand new EP, this track illustrates the work Rameses B is known for – well produced, thoughtful, and somehow just reaches the soul.

8. my.head – En Noir
Genre: Electronica
Another beautifully produced track – geared for when you just need to calm down and relax.

9. Jesusdapnk – I Want You (Hotfire Remix)
Genre: House
In what seems to be a mostly house dominated countdown this month, this house track certainly belongs among the best for June.

10. Twenty One Pilots – Stressed Out
Genre: Alternative
Some of the lyrics in this song echo the thoughts of most of us out there. With an underlying hip-hop beat, and solid video to boot, this is a definite top 10 entry.
